My Day in a Nutshell

Pretty in Pink Lily.

Reese in her brown thug hat.

Mom.

Reese smiling. She smiles when you blow raspberries on her tummers and hams (aka baby thighs).

What is looking at me right now? See picture above. Oh and that onesie she is wearing with the surfboards and palm trees was the first baby thing I bought for them not knowing if they were girls or boys.

4 a.m. ish - Wake up and feed Lily or Reese. Usually Rich and I stick with one baby all night, this way we sleep when they sleep.

7 a.m. ish - Wake up again and feed 'em again. Feeding usually takes an hour including the diaper change and all that.

8 a.m. - Shower! If I don't shower now, I won't until 4 p.m.

10-11 a.m. ish - Quickly take puppers out and feed again....

12 Noon - Try to eat lunch.

1 pm until they wake up again ~ this is tricky.. Sometimes they sleep until 4, then I can work on my homework, ect. If not, I am playing the crabbie game, tropical island mat time, or tummy time. Oh, and p.s. they hate tummy time.

6 p.m. ish - Dad comes home. Mom gets a break and can usually go the ladies room for the first time all day.

7 p.m. - We try to eat, they want to eat again.

8-10p.m. Up time! This way they aren't up all night. Ideally. Usually this is bath time and Rich will do his dad thing and sing to them, while I try to clean up and watch some TV. We don't let them watch TV at all, we do play them lots of music including Rich's baby mix, Sam Cooke, and some U2.

12-1am - Feeding time again. Start all over again. Pray that they will sleep until 6am but anticipate waking up before 4am again.
