The delay in posts was because I was desperately trying to finish (which I did) a paper for the class I was taking in the fall that I withdrew from because I was in the hospital~too bad I didn't have internet access or I could of done the research instead of watching judging amy and law&order.
So last night Reese&Lily started talking to each other. It is the cutest thing I have ever seen. They both were just staring at each other cooing and squeaking at each other. Rich and I had to both wipe away some tears just watching it. They are also getting better at swatting and sorta trying to grab toys. Anyday now that they realize how thier hands work. We are working on the christening date, looks like it may be Mid-May so we will keep you all in the loop.
Oh and they are 15 weeks tomorrow, isn't that nuts.

I don't want to jinx it but Lily has slept through the night for the past 3 nights. One night she even slept from 12am-9am. Unbelieveable. We are trying to get her to talk to her sister about this since Reesey-pie is still waking up every 3 hours. We still love her.

So after 12 (well 13 weeks tomorrow) Reese&Lily have made it out of the house for something other than a doctors appointment. On Saturday they made it to Point Pleasent to visit the new house for my sisters birthday. They were awesome. Reese just slept mostly but Lily was up almost the whole time and juiced everyone for attention. Then yesterday Reese came with me to work for a visit. Actually going out with the stoller was not bad, it is a pretty smooth ride. OF course it took me forever to get through the hospital with everyone stopping me to look at the pie (short for cutie pie and pumpkin pie). I can't imagine how it is to go out with both of them ~ from what I have heard from other twin mom's, EVERYONE stops you and says "aww twins" and you get nothing accomplished. Everyone at my job was wondering why I didn't bring Lily. I asked them if they thought I was nuts, hauling out two babies.
On another note, Reese&Lily have mastered the art of smiling which is making it hard to be mad at them at 4am when they are hungry ~ then they flash the gummy smiles. Also they are getting the grab down pretty well as demonstrated in the Reese pictures above. So cute.
