This is what the tunnel does to Reese.
Deville draggin Lily down the hall with his cart. How funny are Lily's feet? Kinda has that "dog- being-dragged-by-the-family-truckster" in National Lampoons Vacation. Lily was cracking up. I just realized she may be wearing white socks with brown shoes ~ ewww.
Lily meets the cupcake.
Girls like tutus. Actually Reese wore hers for the rest of the day.
Who doesn't love a girl-pirate??Sorry about the gap in posts. Its not that nothing has been going on, actually it has been quite the opposite. I am not sure where to start. Here we go.
Lily & Reese are rockin'. They have boogied with Deville in Hoboken at a baby boogie and much to mom's suprize, a little Rick even got spun. They are moving full speed ahead with lots of hi's, byes, waves, and exploring. Loves: books books books, giving lovies, and going shopping although not much shopping actually happens. What usually happens is that Rich and I run around after them in the mall, Whole Foods, Target, or the Princeton MarketFair (which is extremely baby friendly - not alot of people ever, even during the holidays, and there are big wide corridors for baby romping, and oh yeah, good soft pretzels). Lily & Reese just went to yet another birthday party for thier friend Erin and had such a great time. Rich and I are convinced this is the place thier second birthday will be, such a great place for winter bdays!! It was in indoor baby play palace. Lots of different theme rooms for babies and kids to wander into and play ~ including a big pirate ship with a slide (which of course I was told was ok to slide down although gave about 2 inches when I sat on it), a dance studio (complete with tutus as seen above and tap shoes), a music room (drums included). At one point Reese was just running (well running as best a one year old can) down the hall screaming with glee.
I am sure I am forgetting lots of stuff but I promise to save them for future posts....other news.
Rich - Ok, since he is lacking in updates I will summerize. He met the surgeon last week and has some options/gameplans on the table, although much of this depends on lots of things. Can I be more vague? At this point, they are just checking his labwork and doing some scans later this month. The great news. He had his CEA level done last week, this is a lab that correlates with disease. If your level is above 5, this could mean something is cooking. Prior to starting chemo, his was trending up from 33 to about 53 over 2 months, but as of last week, it was 16. This is amazing. What does this mean? The chemo is working and hopefully things, ie, major surgery, will be deferred until later this spring. Woohoo.
Me - I just accepted a new job. Yup. As of January 31st I will be leaving Newark and moving to a home care company which sounds really exciting. Really for me, these types of jobs do not come around that often. It was one of those things where I wasn't looking at all, got forwarded a job, interviewed, and got it. I am scared, but excited. There is alot of flexibility with schedule and oh yeah, a car. Outrageous. Keep you posted on how it goes. So what is more exciting then a new job? How about meeting Rick Springfield?? Not joking. Keep your eyes posted for some pictures after say March 28th when he plays the State Theatre. Do you think he would like to hang at the Court after his show? New Brunswick may never be the same.
Leave you with that.
Much Love,

Congrats on the new job!
So, really, it's time for tutus already? A relative gave us a pair of pink tutus at my shower, and I've had them stashed away for that inevitable day when E & C will start wanting to wear tutus. I thought it would be when they were more like 2, but maybe I should see what kind of reaction they get now...
