Ok, these strollers are for our babies but we like them too.
No that's not Lily ~ Reese is holding hands with Sophie. I have named all of thier dolls, kinda fun, I can use some of the girl names that got vetoed back in the day.
Big girl car seats. Kinda like Lazyboys for babies.
Running around daycare with a puffy.
How much do I love winter hats??Sorry for the delay...I have been bugging Rich to post something but no luck. So here I am again but I made it under 1 month. Ok, as you can see above we are doing great. Climbing, talking, and all of that. They also love to sing, or at least listen to you sing, and then going in with some yelling especially to Old MacDonald. Kinda funny, but thier new favorite TV commerical is one for Trojans that has singing pigs. That commercial comes on and they both turn around like it is 7:40am and Elmos World is coming on (those of you that are also watching the 7am Sesame Street segmant more power to you). Who can resist a singing farm animal and a pig no-less?? Dare I say no one. If you come over be prepared to read the same book at least 5 times, although Reese leans toward "Bears Busy Family" and Lily likes "Goodnight Butterflies" (because she is drawn to sparklies and the butterflies are sparkly). So be ready to read 2 books to 2 babies at 1 time or else a fist-a-cuffs will breakout. No doubt.
Rich - well the surgery is scheduled for March 18th. I am just planning to be out in Pittsburgh for 2 days and coming back to take care of my girls while we wait for dad to get better and home. Its going to be tough. But I know Lily & Reese will take care of me as much as I take care of them and we hope that dad will be home in a week. I am just asking for all of your patience. I am a tough cookie and I know not everyone understands why I do what I do all of the time but just roll with it. That is what I will need from you. That is all I ask. It may not make sense all of the time but this whole situation doesn't make sense to me.
Oh the surgery, for all you googlers, its called cytoreductive surgery. It is a surgery where they administer warmed chemo to the abdomen so it directly interfaces with cancer. While they are doing all of that the doctor is looking for visable cancer, that may not be detected on all of these scans, and removes it. Its possible. There is probably also going to be a resection (make that #2) but since Rich is responding to chemo so well, we are hoping it will be laproscopic (translation - minimal incisions) vs. open (big incision like last time). Laproscopic means less hospital time quick recovery. But more chemo will take place after the surgery when he gets home and hopefully blast the crap outta cancer. Again, just roll with me.
How is the new job you ask? Good. Adjusting to the new schedule but things are going to get easier the more independant I get. Its strange having a PDA and all of that but its fun. Oh and Rick is next weekend, and I have 4th row so woo-hoo for me.
Babies and chocolate ~
