What was happening this past Sunday night.
Reese and Lamby.
Cold pictures again. So we go this weekend to upgrade the pocketbooks as the girls are hot for thier pocketbooks. Honestly, we had some pretty low-budget ones - one was a canvas bag from my company that was smaller then a big tote bag and since we had to have TWO pocketbooks on hand at any moment (the girls can usually get an "F" in the sharing department depending on intensity of teething and tiredness) and a paper Anthropologie little bag. Ok, off to the Milltown Payless, home of the $6 kiddie pocketbook. So we go, start pulling out Dora and Princess pocketbooks, and Lily goes over to the patent red-leather grown up pocketbooks. Reese picks up a pink backpack and everyone decides they hate Payless and thier stupid pocketbooks. I think this was fueled by the fact that the night before we ventured to the Bridgewater Commons and they got a taste of the Gymboree $15 butterfly and turtle pocketbooks. OK, off to Gymboree (and thanks to some leftover giftcards) we are able to get nice pocketbooks, smoothies and pretzels at Jamba Juice (we have to get 4 smoothies, one that we split into 3 cups and one for mom with a boost of the weight burner supplement). (Remember that sharing problem). Oh how they love us at Jamba Juice. Pics to follow of the disaster that ensues after you give a one year old a raspberry smoothie (great thinking) with a straw in the backseat.
For those of you as interested in my Rick habit as I am into following him around the tri-state area, the Lancaster show was beyond incredible, and since there was no security regulating the front, I got to go all the way up to the stage (well, I had 4th row tix anyway) and get a hand and a verse sung to me oh yeah and a wink. There is nothing but trouble coming my way for his NJ two-nigher in March. Hee hee.
