Lily and Reese: 2 going on 22.......

So 12/13 Lily and Reese celebrated their birthday with their closest buddies at imaginethat museum. Lily and Reese were good host making sure to spend at least a little time with all of their guest and now can name almost all of their buddies parents when looking at their picture...

Lily....

....and Reese

Lily had to have two cupcakes....much too Peter's chagrin....

post party gift opening vip event....

seriously thank you so much to everyone for coming and making it a blast for all the kids and me.

Now this weekend also marked our first christmas tree outing as a family....Wait until Grandma Mo is watching the girls Friday....

We are READY for Christmas...

we can sing Jingle Bells......but not on command...this was almost the xmas card pic...but obviously didn't make the cut.

OK so this is a long post and many of you will be seeing Lily and Reese for the holidays (some for the first time FL I'm looking at you...Dee we are coming over this weekend!!!

But here are a few news and notes about the girls:

Reese: Reese has her fathers gifts of showmanship, dance and well talking endlessly mostly about herself (again like her father); is suprisingly the more girly girl of the two; can sing Jingle Bells, Twinkle Twinkle, Where is thumpkin, about 4 wiggles songs - we (I) love the wiggles...I know its not hip, Yo Gabba is the post punk hipster haven, but the wiggles are like the monkees and I like me the monkees; is this about Reese or me?; Has a temper like a trucker stuck in rush hour; still 1 inch taller and 1 lb heavier; no longer ever gets confused for a boy, loves school vaccumming dress up, snoopy, mickey mouse, and all of her friends

Lily Lily is also a showwoman, she can shake what her mama gave her, loves to take her clothes off, worries her dad by dancing on things naked, loves to look at pictures, loves doing art projects, is perhaps the most popular kid in the robins room at school, puts herself in timeout and can find exactly the way to drive her parents crazy but making them laugh at the exact same time...still a lovie machine to friends and family, plays it cool with older man, she worries me....also ace soccer and athlete if you discard her awkward running type thing...

Both the girls love to call me and heather by our real names periodically (montessori is a hippie breeding ground), can say their middle names and first and middle names, smile more than not, snuggle and cuddle in a way that makes everyone love them and folks they know they are cute and know how to use it....

welcome to the terrible twos!!
